Overview
Cars in Containers is a stand-alone digital activation/tool that showcases DP World’s cars in containers services as part of their Finished Vehicle Logistics solutions. It focuses on key USP’s from these services and is flexible enough to use at both events and as an online demo to aid in sales and commercial objectives.
Problem / Purpose
The project was designed to explain and promote DP World’s vehicle logistics services through a structured system, integrating commercial videos, service options, and case studies, all within a single experience. These complex information should be presented in a way that allows users to explore different levels of detail intuitively, without feeling overwhelmed.
Process
I co-designed the interaction system and user interface, focusing on how users navigate through the content and engage with different layers of information. I then independently built the digital experience, translating the design into a fully functional screen-based system. This involved structuring the information hierarchy, integrating motion and media, and ensuring the interaction flow remained clear and intuitive. I also presented the design to the client and refined the experience through testing and feedback, iterating on usability, pacing, and clarity.
A key feature of the experience is the interactive 3D model of the “car in container,” which allows users to inspect the logistics setup and access detailed information through direct interaction. This element brings together visualisation, interaction, and content in a single system, enhancing engagement while communicating both product details and service capabilities.
Outcome
The final outcome is a digital experience that communicates DP World’s vehicle logistics services through a unified and interactive system, combining 3D model, video, motion, and structured content. The project demonstrates my ability to build systems that handle complex information while maintaining reliability and clarity, and to translate business services and value propositions into engaging, user-friendly experiences.
