This interactive poster was made to reflect on the McDonald's international success and its dual marketing strategy of standardisation and adaptation.
I used 6 special drinks that I have found from 6 countries. I also included the country's icon, the Maccas's logo, the name of the product, a short description in the local languages that I copied from their websites, and pictures of the drinks. I used 6 different background colours to represent their cultures. Blue for the Australian clear sky and summer beaches. Chocolate brown for the Brazilian cocoa. Turquoise for the rich Chinese tea history. Soft gold for the Egyptian chamomile that connects the gods. Coffee brown for the warmth that a sweet, hot coffee can bring to the cold and wet winter in the UK. And purple pink for the imagination and creativity of the Americans that invented smoothie, after blenders and refrigerators.
